Charles Robert Watts (2 June 1941 – 24 August 2021) was an English musician who was the drummer for the rock band The Rolling Stones. One of the band’s core members, he performed on all of their studio albums. He has many jazz projects on the side, outside of The Rolling Stones.
Watts was born on 2 June 1941. Originally trained as a graphic artist, Watts developed an interest in jazz at a young age. He has sighted Jazz as a major influence in style. His influence on Rock is undeniably profound.
