Robert Lane Saget, known by his stage name Bob Saget, was an American stand-up comedian, actor, and television host. From 1989 to 1997, he hosted ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos.’  His acting roles included Danny Tanner on the sitcom Full House and its sequel Fuller House, Legit, Nightcap etc. He was also the voice of narrator Ted Mosby on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. 

Saget was born in Philadelphia on May 17, 1956. He got his big break with his most famous role as the widower Danny Tanner on Full House. Saget was also famed for his raunchier standup routines. In 2014, he was nominated for the ‘Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album,’ for ‘That’s What I’m Talkin’ About.’ He passed away on 10 January, 2022.
